About the Photographer
"Hey, I'm Rachel!
I am a small-town girl, passionate about capturing life moments for others. I usually have a camera or phone in hand at most times, constantly snapping pictures of loved ones, beautiful sights, or just moments to remember.
I have had a love for photography since a young age. I got my first digital camera when I was about 10 years old. I took photography classes in both high school and college, falling in love with hobby even more."
Rachel is married to her high school sweetheart, Gabriel, and they have an energetic and adventurous five year old son. They enjoy playing sports, camping, traveling, going on various adventures together, and spending time with loved ones. She was born and raised in the town of Pendleton, where she and her family still reside. She loves taking family and couple portraits around the town and park.
Rachel has a great love for creating wood signs, capturing photographs, and planning parties. She loves creating an idea and making it come to life. Rachel went to Ball State University and received a degree in Family Consumer Sciences with a minor in Interior Design. As well as interior design, she took classes in photography, early childhood development, hospitality and food management, and several others. All of these gave Rachel experience in editing images, designing many different products both digitally and with physical materials, event planning, and early development and milestones for children.
Business partners
Rachel and Taylar are long time best friends who are also business partners. Together, they own and run the business Countrified Creations, LLC. Countrified Creations, LLC consists of small businesses called Countrified Wood Shop, Countrified Design Art, and Countrified Captures. These small businesses create and sell products that include wood crafts, apparel, invitations and party decor, planners and notebooks, as well as photography! Taylar also loves photography and helps Rachel at times!
